Will Harris
Will, originally from Nebraska, served 16 years in the Army. He excelled as an Army Recruiter, Station Commander and Field First Sergeant in multiple locations throughout Nebraska, Iowa, and ultimately North Texas. After retiring from the Army as a Sergeant First Class in 2016, Will, and his wife, Anna, launched their careers in real estate. It is then that The Great Home Team was founded. Will & Anna have grown the team to be amongst the top 1% of real estate teams in the State of Texas. Owning a real estate company has provided the opportunity for Will to continue serving the Veteran Community. Will specializes in helping Veterans build their wealth through real estate and financial education. Helping first time home buyers and educating Veterans on the VA loan benefit is his passion. Will also coaches his fellow Realtors on how to not only have a successful career in real estate, but to also take their business to the next level. Will is currently serving as manager and partner for the Local Realty Agency - McKinney office, and is also co-owner and Team Leader of The Great Home Team. He is proud to have served as Past President of the North Texas Pioneers Rotary Club in Plano, TX, and served in many leadership roles within the real estate community over the years. He holds two MBAs in Criminal Justice and Human Resources. He's a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI), an Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), a Military Relocation Professional (MRP), a certified Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE), Short Sale and Foreclosure Certified, and a Certified Home Marketing Specialist (CHMS). He's a preferred referral partner with Helping Heroes PCS (HHPCS) and is also a referral partner with Veterans United. Will and Anna support multiple local nonprofits, as well as many that also support the Veteran community. Will enjoys the outdoors, hiking, hunting and camping. He and his wife are blessed with four children and two dogs.
