I’ve lived here for a few years now, and things have not improved. Rent has increased without any noticeable improvements to the complex at ALL. In fact, the complex is run down, poorly cared for, and is not “luxury” as they claim to be. The only good thing is the physical location being next to HEB and the park. The exit gates are CONSTANTLY broken. So are the elevators. Common spaces like the garage and stairwells are dirty, ill lit, and poorly maintained. There’s trash constantly everywhere. The pool was broken for 2.5 weeks in the height of summer without any updates as to when it will be fixed. There’s also only 4 functional lounge chairs in a complex with a few hundred living here. One of the courtyards has an eyesore of an empty fountain that hasn’t worked for at least 2 years, yet nothing is done with it. Take your money elsewhere - not sure what they’re doing with our rent checks but it sure isn’t going into maintaining common spaces.

Thank you Kristen for helping us out! She gave us multiple options from what we were looking for, and now we will be moving in a few weeks :) On my second visit, I got to experience a bit of their resident community and got free tacos 🌮 If you’re looking for apartments by the Buffalo Bayou, I definitely recommend giving this a look! Their renovated spaces look amazing and they mentioned there is more to come.

The Whitmore Apartments appeared very nice from the outside the leasing associate was nice. I went in to view an apartment and in order to view it you have to do a full face recognition in an app, just to view it. Download an app take a selfie and scan your driver's license, etc. Very backwards process why would they have you do face recognition just to view an apartment you may not like? I would understand this process more if you actually liked the unit and decided to move forward with leasing it but to view it was a bit unorthodox and an unnecessary hassle for short tour. Everyone isnt into apps, iris scans, especially with all the data breach happening these days. The apartments did appear nice and well kept on the outside.

Since new management took over I have really noticed a great difference! They have started renovations and you can tell they are committed to provided a true luxury living experience. Super convenient location, HEB right next door! Great area to live in Houston, 10/10 recommend 😊

The new management has been very helpful and accommodating. Catie was excellent throughout the leasing process and made the transition to a new unit smooth and easy. The location is great and management’s making improvements around the whole property. I’ve personally had a great experience with the management and maintenance team.
