Vernon Smith

For over 30 years Vernon's mission has been helping others in the areas of Real Estate, Financial Investments and Ministry. Vernon is the Real Estate Broker and President of Dominion CDP - Construction/Development/Properties. His primary focus for the last few years has been as a developer through Dominion Development. He is an independent financial advisor and the creator of The Financial Game™ a program designed to aid families in understanding how money works and how to provide wealth for generations. He spent 8 years with Xerox in Computer Systems and Networks and 7 years for a national Ministry where he was the Technology Department Manager responsible for the MIS Department, the Audio/Video, and Television Ministry and established a private Satellite Uplink Network. He is a Licensed Minister, a Texas Certified Mediator and a faithful member of Windsor Village United Methodist Church. Vernon previously served on the Board of the Houston Black Real Estate Association (HBREA) and currently serves on the Boards of the Five Corners Improvement District (HCID 10-B), the Friends Of Levitt Pavilion Houston and Special Angels Of The Woodlands (SAW). He has attended the UofH and PVAMU, is licensed as a Broker with the Texas Real Estate Commission, was previously licensed with the Texas Department of Insurance and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and is the author of, RICHE$! …In Secret Places.

Vernon credits the blessings of his many experiences to God, for he was raised as a Christian, an avid hunter and fisherman, built dragsters in his Fathers shop from age 12 (spent the weekends at Houston International Speedway) the 15 years in Computer Systems and Networks, 28 years as a Real Estate Broker, 15 years as a Financial Adviser, and encompassing it all, 28 years in Ministry, (22 years Licensed). Most important, he credits his success to his marriage to the lovely, intelligent and spiritual powerhouse, Jacquetta Y. Smith! Together, they have raised six children and have eight grandchildren.
