When we first moved in a few years ago to a 1 bed / 1 bath apartment, we honestly didn’t have many issues. Things changed drastically when we transferred to a larger unit so my mom could move in with us.
From that point on, it has been one problem after another.
We had ongoing AC issues during peak 100-degree heat. Multiple work orders were submitted, yet they were repeatedly closed out without anyone actually addressing the problem. After more than a month of back and forth, they finally determined the rooftop unit needed to be replaced — something that could have been identified much sooner.
Shortly after that, we experienced a leak from the upstairs unit that turned into a mold issue. It became serious enough that we had to move again. We were relocated to a smaller unit but charged the same rent, which was incredibly frustrating. It also took over a month to receive a new lease for the transferred unit, and getting assistance during that time felt like pulling teeth.
At this point, I genuinely dread submitting work orders because they often get closed without proper resolution.
Currently:
Our personal dryer no longer works in this unit because there is no airflow. Maintenance informed us that the exterior vent flap isn’t opening, which explains the issue — but it still hasn’t been resolved.
Our smoke detector has been beeping for over a week. My husband and I have sent multiple emails (2–3 each) with no response. We can’t replace it ourselves because of the 14-foot ceilings.
On top of the maintenance concerns, the additional monthly fees are excessive. Residents are charged up to $200 in miscellaneous fees for things like pest control, sewage, and other add-ons. These costs add up quickly and feel unreasonable, especially given the ongoing maintenance and communication issues.
One of the most frustrating parts of this experience has been the lack of leadership and accountability. The current manager, Dylan, has been largely MIA and has not resolved our ongoing issues despite multiple attempts to get assistance. Emails and calls often go unanswered, and concerns remain unaddressed.
While there is one maintenance team member who has been incredibly kind and helpful, the overall maintenance response and management support have been disappointing. Previously, Reagan was wonderful and always responsive, but since she left, the level of service has significantly declined.
It’s unfortunate because the property looks great at first glance. However, the ongoing maintenance problems, lack of communication, high additional fees, and repeated unresolved issues make it hard to recommend living here. Several reviews mention similar concerns, yet nothing seems to change.
I truly hope management takes these concerns seriously and works toward improving the experience for current and future residents
