This is a very peaceful area with beautiful greenery and lots to explore. I’ve found pine sap that’s great for making fire starters, and even spotted wild spring onions. I personally wouldn’t forage anything to eat due to nearby car pollution and high foot traffic in some areas, but it’s still a great place to observe nature. I’m sure there’s much more here that I haven’t discovered yet. There’s also a surprising amount of biodiversity here—lots of birds like crows, grackles, yellow crowned night herons and roseate spoonbills. I’ve also seen deer, crawfish, and turtles, which really adds to how lively the area feels.

The only good thing our team won the tournament I spent 2 DAYS THERE!! My honest review is restrooms are beyond nasty during the tournament, unbelievable how their not cleaning when more than 1000 people are there completely gross. No soap to wash our hands water everywhere 🤢🤢 DISGUSTING. Parking lot its a nightmare too, be prepared if you're headed that way.

It is a very beautiful park—it is enormous and always kept very clean. There are restrooms located throughout the park, and they are always spotless; they undergo daily maintenance.

It is a nice park. Pavilion 1 was used by us yesterday. Kids had a good time. Not too many tables but other Pavilions might have more. Good parking. Restrooms not clean. On my next event for approximately 150 people will be held at a larger Pavilion and request restrooms to be cleaned before. But overall very happy with the park. We will be back in the Fall for our event

Very nice park. I came too late in the morning to enjoy the trails. The aviary is small and nice. Several birds to check out with a pond right next to it with ducks and turtles. There wasn't any wildlife at the wildlife viewing area. And all the animal pens were empty. Park is kept nice and clean. The bathroom was clean. Free park, lots of parking. Constables were available at the entrance.
