Tammy grew up in Spring, Texas and has been married to her husband, Mike for 33 years. Tammy has always had a passion for animals, whether pets or wildlife. As a youth, she was always bringing animals home that needed help or a home. Once married, she wanted to provide a home for children. Mike and her become foster parents and were able to provide a home for 27 foster children. Over 26 years ago and after adopting 4 of their foster children, Tammy and Mike decided to move from the Houston area to Washington County to provide a better life for their family. They are members of St. Peter's Episcopal Church where Tammy has served on the Vestry. She helped start CASA for Kids of South Central Texas and served on the Board of Directors several times. She is currently serving on the Washington County Horse Committee. Tammy enjoys her horses and pets, fishing, swimming, boating, ATV's and spending time with family and friends. As a ranch owner in Washington County, she has been there done that!
