I’ve had several builders tell my clients that they can ask me for a rebate in commission. This would come out of my commission after my brokerage takes its %. My brokerage isn’t offering rebates. Why are builder sales agents telling my clients this? Is this an ethical\nPractice ? I’m not trying to give away their earnings and profits so they shouldn’t be allowed to suggest I do the same.

Builders are great when they\'re great and horrible when they\'re horrible. Same goes for agents too. I would reach out to the supervisor above that sales consultant and explain to your clients that your company does not allow rebates on new construction homes.
