Served in the Army for two years; basic training @ Ft. Polk, Louisiana. Advanced training @ Fort Ord, California, Stationed in Korea and ETS @ Ft. Knox Kentucky. Received the rank of Sgt. E-5 upon honorable discharge in 1968.
