Rick Wegman
Rick Wegman has been an integral part of Fort Worth Real Estate since 2003. He has over 16 years of experience in residential brokerage and construction and was instrumental in growing HGC Residential Development into the largest custom home builder in the area. In addition to residential real estate and construction, Rick has launched and owns an interior decorating firm, a commercial construction company, property management firm and has been instrumental in the development and growth of all the companies. He has listed and sold some of the area's most significant properties. Rick is a Christie's Certified Luxury Specialist and is often featured in various media outlets including the Wall Street Journal, NBC News, Forbes, Mansion Global as well as multiple local newspapers and magazines. He was born in Detroit, Michigan and raised in Wisconsin and Florida. He graduated from TCU and went on to receive a master's and doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. He supports numerous community organizations, including serving as a board member for Casa Manana Rick is also a Fort Worth Zoo Annual Donor, TCU Annual Donor, and active alumni. He and his family have traveled extensively to Europe with repeated visits to the Amalfi Coast, but his favorite Texas experience is any TCU sporting event followed by dinner at Joe T. Garcias. Among his favorite North Texas neighborhoods are River Crest, Monticello, TCU, Colonial and Montserrat. Rick loves spending time at local museums as well as visiting museums in other cities, domestic and abroad. He is also a collector, buying and selling classic cars and wines.
