When is the last date home owners can file for exemption?

I am fairly new to the Houston area and am learning about MUD taxes. In my research online, something doesnt make sense to me. Can someone help? \n\nIf a MUD was formed and the area is now annexed by a City, why do you still have to pay a MUD tax? Isnt the City responsible for providing water, sewer, etc? If the MUD is providing these then why isnt tgere a reduction in the City tax rate for those properties in the MUD since the city is not providing those services. Thank you in advance for helping me clarify this. I just want to understand \"how this whole MUD tax in City limits works.\"

I have leased 2 houses since the broken lease and fulfilled my lease agreement. It was when I tried to get a Townhome in Houston, TX that this came up on my credit report.

You might have to offer the property owners a double deposit or maybe a double months rent and the deposit. This might help you to get accepted.
