Can I find the flood claim history on a potential home?
293We are looking at a few homes in our city and before we go any further, I'd like to find out if there is an easy way to see if a home has a prior flood claim. I can go to the FEMA website to get the flood zone but I want to know if a home has previously flooded.

You can find the flood claim history on a potential home by obtaining a Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Exchange (CLUE) report. A CLUE report is a database of insurance claims that have been filed on a property, including flood claims.
