My husband and I are relocating to the Houston area (from Utah) at the end of December.

We're interested in family (3+ bedroom) rentals located in the Katy/Cypress areas. What is the best way to go about finding one? Any advice we should know about?

Hi Katy,

Are you happy with your rental? After 1 year renting, it is typically good to purchase.
North Katy and Cypress have lots of opportunities for first time home buyers.

Welcome to Houston! The best way to make to through the rental process is to hire a realtor to represent you, as a leasee the service is of no charge to you and soo worth it!

Hi Kati, as you can see there are various homes for rent in Katy and Cypress. Depending on your reason for your selected locations, I would not resign to solely those two areas unless you are already familiar. Houston is a large city, and commutes can be challenging.
