Home warranty can be a crucial part of homeownership and it is definitely imperative to select a reliable company and plan to utilize in case it is ever necessary to use! Many of my clients have found the most success with One Guard Home Warranty and 2-10 Home Warranty! It is also VERY helpful to have a direct source representative to reach out to in case the warranty policy holder is unhappy with the outcome of an issue presented to the warranty company! We are able to use fields in the "Green/Energy Certifications" category, which includes: Energy Star Qualified Home, Enironments for Living, HERS, LEED for Homes (USGBC), National Green Building Certification (NAHB), Other Energy Report, and Other Green Certifications. There is also a category called "Energy Features" that has choices related to N/S exposure, insulation, SEER ratings, and more. It's also smart to select an agent who has NAR's Green designation.
