My family is looking to move from out of state to the Houston area in the last month of July. I will be coming out to check out rental properties and sign a lease before that. I was wondering if mid June was an okay time to do this. I would hate to come out and be told that it was too early, but I really need to get a property finalized. And would a realtor be able to help with scheduling homes that the owners would be open to this timeframe? I have talked with a couple and felt dismissed cause I am "just a renter"..Thx for any advice!!

Can I list my house for sale on har.com without being an har member?

In order to list a home specifically on HAR.com you must be a member or have a member post your home for you. That is actually the easy part! It's just a matter of data entry. However, it is still a good idea to do thorough research about marketing your home. To get the highest and best price you should understand how to use social media to market your home. You need to know how to attract the right buyers and qualified buyers. Plus what about the sales contracts? Who is liable for what? Now don't get me wrong, selling your home on your own can be done successfully. Before you do step out on this exciting adventure educate yourself as much as possible if this is your first time. Remember the first time you cut your own bangs or shaved? There were probably some small details you overlooked which could have made a huge difference in the outcome. Well For Sale By Owner is a lot like that. There are so many options and tools available to you as the consumer and this past year has been so great as far as real estate sales go! Still, to maximize results get a strategy and a plan based on your goals.
