Monica Finkelstein
Forging long-term client relationships is at the core of Monica's approach. No transaction is ever a one-and-done deal. Rather Monica focuses on earning her clients' trust, loyalty, and friendship. Monica's long-standing clients include residential buyers and sellers, investors, and builders, many of whom she has represented on multiple transactions. Monica attributes this to her stellar negotiation skills, integrity, and expert knowledge of the Houston market.
Growing up the granddaughter of a builder, real estate was a natural next step for Monica after she retired from a successful career as an appellate attorney. Monica graduated cum laude from Dedman College of Law (Southern Methodist University) where she was inducted into the Order of the Coif, named a Hutchison Fellow (full merit scholarship), and was an editor of the SMU Law Review. She received her BA magna cum laude in Chinese History and Political Science from Colorado College and studied Mandarin Chinese as a PICAS Fellow at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
In her spare time, Monica likes spending time with her family and three fur babies. She enjoys Sudoku, Vinyasa Yoga, and attending performances of the Houston Grand Opera. Monica believes in serving her community and actively donates to Houston PetSet and various performing arts organizations.
