Minnette Boesel Properties was the first residential real estate company to locate in downtown Houston! The company has focused on the emerging residential loft condominium and lease markets as well as neighborhoods inside the 610-loop. Minnette has a 25 year background in real estate and historic preservation with a Masters Degree in Historic Preservation from Columbia University in New York City. She has served as Executive Director of the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation, Preservation Maryland, the Downtown Houston Association and the Downtown Historic District, Inc.. She has been the co-developer of and investor in several historic properties including the W. L. Foley Dry Goods Building, the Hermann Lofts and several historic houses in Eastwood.

Minnette served as a Board Member of the Houston Association of Realtors, the largest Realtor association in the United States, 2002-2006. She is past President of the Greater Houston Preservation Alliance and of Preservation Action, the national legislative organization for historic preservation. She was appointed by the Mayor and City Council as Board Chairman of Main Street/Market Square Redevelopment Authority/Tax Reinvestment Zone #3 which encompasses approximately 70 square blocks of downtown Houston. She has also served on the Boards of the Rice Design Alliance, Preservation Texas, Downtown Historic District, Inc., and Scenic Texas. She is on the Advisory Boards of Houston Mod and the Washington Avenue Community Development Corporation.

Minnette has received a number of awards for her community involvement in the inner city including the Proud Partners Award by the City of Houston, the Heart of the District Award by the Downtown Historic District, Inc., and four "Good Brick" Awards including the President's Award from the Greater Houston Preservation Alliance.

Minnette is committed to the urban revitalization of the inner city. All of her projects and listings are more then just real estate, but are contributing to the heart of the inner city!
