Networking within your franchise is usually the easiest way to find a local real estate professional that can assist in the state your client is relocating to. It's a good practice to obtain a Broker-to-Broker referral in writing so the terms of the referral fee are outlined and agreed upon by both brokers. Networking within your sphere may also lead you to just the right agent to handle the transaction on the other end of the deal. Can I buy a multifamily property and turn it into a preschool?

Check the zoning where the property is located. The city planning department will have that particular information. Additionally, even if the zoning does not allow commercial endeavors you may be able to request a variance. Best of luck!
