“I would have liked to have met the buyers at some time during the process. This property was my family's home for the past 65 years and it was not an easy decision for me to sell it. It would have been nice to be able to know who would be living in my parents home and to tell them how to take care of the well during the winter months, how to protect the pipes from freezing, which light switch to keep the security lights burning, and other little details. Dawn was very helpful but there were some things that were not under her control that were disturbing to me. Things such as lights being left on in the house and doors being left unlocked when other people came to view or inspect the property. I felt like my parents' home was being disrespected. This was not a reflection on Dawn because she assured me that no one would be coming to the home unless they were with another realtor® or the inspector or someone who had the code to the lock box. I only spoke with Mike twice on the phone during the process and once in person the day I signed the closing papers. I did not like having to keep signing documents over the computer to extend the timeline. I felt like we were always the one having to give time, money, etc. I am glad the whole process is over. ”
