Michael Said
Michael is a native Texan who is proud to call Austin his home for the last 30 years.
Originally from Dallas, Michael moved to Austin in 1994 and graduated in 1998 from The University of Texas with a degree in Economics and a minor in Business. He obtained his real estate license in 1996 during his sophomore year at UT Austin. Michael began working right away as a part time agent until he finished college. After graduating, Michael chose a full-time real estate career with Ely Properties instead of following the trend of working with Dell. This was the best decision he ever made.
While at Ely Properties, Michael was a top producer and achieved a very high level of success by closing over 200 transactions totaling $20+ million in real estate over 7 years. He also became an avid investor buying and selling multiple investment properties.
By this time Michael was ready to branch out on his own and opened his own brokerage in May of 2006. Michael’s business has grown to focus on working with Buyers and Sellers in the general Austin market. He has a vast knowledge of many Austin neighborhoods such as Tarrytown, Clarksville, South Austin, Downtown, Westlake, Travis Heights, Hyde Park, Allandale, Bee Caves, Lake Austin, and Lake Travis.
With 28 years of experience under his belt, Michael has become one of Austin’s most successful real estate agents and has amassed a very impressive portfolio of real estate including multifamily, commercial, and residential holdings. He stays continually educated with current real estate knowledge while having taken over 500 hours of real estate classes. Michael is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Texas. Less than 1% of Realtors ever achieve their broker's license due to the education, training and experience required.
In his free time he enjoys spending time on Lake Austin with his friends and family. Michael's other hobbies include snowboarding, scuba diving, coaching his daughter’s soccer team, golfing, tennis, and running on Lady Bird Lake.
