Michael Mahon
Michael Mahon's creative vision for design and appreciation of architecture prompted him to pursue a career in real estate. As an agent at Compass Real Estate, Michael is gratified by the process of connecting buyers with the perfect home and aiding sellers with a seamless transaction. Michael became involved in real estate at a young age with his family, working on multiple residential projects. He has a unique gift for design combined with experience in construction. His talent for residential staging is of value in creating the greatest marketability for listed properties, prompting quick sales or leases. Prior to receiving his real estate license, Michael worked in operations for a brokerage to further develop his interest in real estate and increase his market knowledge. He has worked for several of the industry's most reputable and successful agents, which gives him valuable insight and training that he now applies to his career. Michael has served on advisory boards, has been the co-chair of MLS Meetings and Area Tours, and has been the co-chair of annual community fundraising events. Michael was born in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Northern New Mexico and then raised in New Braunfels, Texas. He is an enthused Jayhawk, graduating from The University of Kansas in 2011 with a BS. in journalism and a minor in business. He and his husband enjoy spending time with their three dogs and take great pride in their home and yard. Michael enjoys cycling, hiking, skiing, paddle boarding, is a travel enthusiast, and spends much of his time outdoors. He is motivated, knowledgeable, and committed to providing excellent service to every client while meeting their individual real estate needs.
