I hate to sound like a broken record, but I have been a Verizon customer for eight years now. I never have a dropped call.

It is hurricane season 2013, there are many new residents of Houston. Please share your top tips for being prepared before, during and after a storm. The Flood Control District recommends using its new mobile website, www.thehurricanetracker.org You can track storms, explore hurricane evacuation routes, and view useful tips for making a family emergency plan.

Before the storm secure your home as best your can. Make sure that everything outside is put away and don't forget the porch swing. If the chains come loose it makes a very large and heavy projectile. You should evacuate your home if told to and then hope for the best.After the storm the power could be off for a couple of weeks, so be sure you have food and water for four or five days and full tanks of gas in all of your vehicles. It could take several days for stores and gas stations to reopen. Make certain that you have plenty of batteries, lanterns and a radio. Also try to keep you sense of humor and civility.

I'm currently putting together a training video on this b/c so many agents still mail out using regular postage rates. This program can save you so much money on mail outs! It's easy once you figure it out. The post office site isn't very helpful, but once you outsmart it, what a money saver for mailers!

I have used it twice now and it is great. Very easy and much less expensive than regular postage. One caution - the post office manual is confusing and it is easy to get the size wrong. A good printer will know the rules and keep you from making a mistake.
