In 2027, Maria is scheduled to run her second qualified Boston Marathon and the Cape Town Marathon in South Africa, marking her fifth continent in pursuit of an extraordinary goal: completing marathons on all seven continents and reaching the milestone of 100 marathons. She is also on track to become one of the few athletes in the world to earn a fourth Abbott World Marathon Majors Six-Star Finisher distinction.
