A North Carolina native, I've lived in Houston since 2013. I moved here for a retail management position and after living in Houston for 4 years, I left that career.
I wanted to get my Real Estate license when I was 18. And I never pulled the trigger. After graduating with a degree in Business Marketing and Management and working for 8 years, I knew I needed to pursue the career I had originally been drawn to so many years before.
My background in high-end, commission based retail set me up to succeed in Real Estate. I took away invaluable customer service skills, business planning tools, and of course the art of selling.
Houston may not be where my roots are but it is the city I am proud to call home. The fabulous restaurants and endless things to do are fabulous but the real reason I am so in love with Houston is because of the people. There is a friendliness you don't find in other cities, especially this size.
