Lynne Tompkins

From Lynne Tompkins’ point of view, there is nobody better qualified to be an effective Realtor than she. Lynne – a newly minted empty nester – believes that she knows everything necessary about the needs of a growing family – from skills like organization, diplomacy and patience, to the details such as housing requirements, neighborhood amenities, schools, shopping, available sports and, well, you name it. “I am so proud of my family and the skills I have developed making their lives run smoothly,” Lynne says.

Lynne enjoys the opportunity to test those talents. She knows, for example, that for families with children, finding the perfect home means finding excellent schools. Her familiarity and knowledge of the CyFair schools, the surrounding areas, and which neighborhoods are good for families are invaluable assets for those clients.

A happy person who is levelheaded but feisty and enjoys laughing, Lynne loves being around people and listening to their life stories, then matching them to their needs. She believes that there is a buyer for every home, and that there is a home for every buyer, and enjoys the opportunity to work with buyers and sellers of every stripe and at every stage of home ownership: first time home buyers, those moving up with expanding families, those who are relocating to Houston, empty-nesters who are downsizing and everyone in between. Lynne’s primary desire for her clients is to help them find a home, not just a house. She knows that buying or selling a home takes teamwork, and treats each real estate transaction as a partnership.

Friends and family hold an important place in Lynne's life. She's been married to her husband, Danny, for 34 years, loves playing tennis, traveling, and walking her dog at the family bay house in Galveston. Lynne is the devoted mother of two grown sons whom she describes as "wonderful young men."
