I'm a Dallas kid who got completely charmed by Central Texas, and honestly, I never stood a chance. My family and I stumbled onto this area during my military years, fell head over heels for the small-town warmth and genuine community feel, and planted our roots here over 12 years ago. Best decision we ever made — right behind saying yes to my wife.
