A manufactured home is personal property. There are no addendums for manufactured homes. Is the mobile-home on a lot the buyer is purchasing?, Is it in a mobile home park? The seller should provide a Statement of Ownership and Location (SOL) from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs, Manufactured Home Division. This document will give current information, including owner, location, real property election. You can look the information up also, as long as you have the mobile home Certificate number. If the home is in a park where the seller pays lot rent, it is personal property and conveys with a bill of sale. do the research for the SOL to make sure that seller is the owner and can sell that personal property.
