I'm LaKendra Harper Broker of the Five Star Team in Houston Texas, real estate mentor, and entrepreneur. I am a wife and mother of 3 beautiful children. I graduated from Westbury Highschool in 2001 and went on to further my education at Texas Southern University where I graduated in 2005 with my BSW in Social Work. My experience in this industry spans over 15 years. With dedication and persistence my real estate business grew and I have been a top producer consistently. The Five Star Team was established in 2017 when I made the decision as a broker that leading and mentoring realtors® was my niche. Our team has grown in number and performance. We currently encompass a team of 19 and growing. In 2023 I was recognized at the More 2.0 conference in Las Vegas, NV for outstanding leadership in connection with the performance and visibility strides my team accomplished in 2022. In 2024 I was selected as a host for American Dream TV Houston, the Emmy nominated lifestyle and real estate show that airs on major TV networks and apps. Most recently I collaborated with a group of other outstanding female real estate agents, Women Who Boss Up in Real Estate 2.0. This book is an Amazon #1 International Best Seller, and remains #1 in real estate sales currently. In addition to my professional accolades, Community and service remain a forefront in my life. Our community partnerships include Houston RAKS, Random Acts of Kindness where we have contributed turkeys and sponsored thanksgiving meals to families in need. Secret Santa, where we sponsored families in need by providing Christmas gifts to children. Food Pantry organization and give away with local community members. Annual City Wide Home Buyers symposium where we provide local community members with credit repair education, resources and access to our full range of real estate services.
