While Katie enjoys residential real estate her niche is in farm and ranch. Her passion for agricultural sales stems from the time she spent on her family's ranch. She has the knowledge and respect for the time and work it takes to run a successful agriculture endeavor.
Katie earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Sam Houston State. Upon graduation Katie took a position at Bettencourt Tax Advisors in the residential division. She was quickly promoted to the commercial division where she was involved in research and sales. The knowledge she obtained through this experience has equipped Katie to confidently educate her clients on tax values and exemptions.
Katie is passionate about assisting landowners, large and small, to save money through agricultural exemptions. As a member of the Montgomery County Bee Keeper Association Katie has access to information and resources which she uses to advise her clients of the exemptions available to them through bee keeping.
As a horse and cattle owner Katie understands what livestock owners are looking for in a property. She can see the land's raw potential and envision its best use. Katie stays up to date with county and state plans for future development as this information is indispensable to help her guide her clients to make wise investments.
In her spare time Katie actively volunteers at her daughter's school and their church, Salem Lutheran. She enjoys rodeo and anything horse related. She also volunteers with the Bureau of Land Management wild horse and burro adoption events. Katie enjoys giving back to the FFA and local 4H chapters. She is a proud Zeta Tau Alpha member and Sam Houston State Alumnae
Katie enjoys not only helping clients find their next property but also enjoys the experience of making new relationships. She applies her neighborhood expertise, which include the areas The Woodlands, Spring, Conroe, Tomball, Cypress, Hockley, Waller, and Hempstead, to assist buyers and sellers moving within the city as well as those relocating into the area. Katie is a native Houstonian with many years' experience in the real estate industry. Katie is very knowledgeable in single family residential homes and thoroughly enjoys farm and ranch /horse properties.
