For more than 24 years, Katie Compian DeHaven has been a vital asset to the B/CS real estate community, and she has helped countless buyers and sellers make the most of their financial goals. Katie is a graduate of Texas A&M University where she earned a degree in Leadership and Development. For Katie, real estate isn't just a business or a career; it's personal. As a life-long resident of the Brazos Valley, Katie has a vested interest in the local community and is driven both personally and professionally to improve the lives of the people around her. One of the highlights of Katie's career was earning the Chairman's Club Award for RE/MAX of Texas in 2021 and the Hall of Fame Award for RE/MAX of Texas in 2019. She has also earned the Platinum Club Award for RE/MAX of Texas from 2015-2020 and again in 2022. She has earned a spot in the Top 500 for RE/MAX of Texas from 2015-2022. Katie has a passion for giving back to the community in which she lives, and she puts her ample knowledge to work to serve others. She is a Texas Realtor Leadership Program graduate of 2016 and she has served for over 6 years on the Bryan / College Station Association of Realtors MLS Board of Directors. She was selected to serve for 5 years on the Grimes County Appraisal Review Board. She currently spends her spare time serving as Vice President for Voices for Children Brazos Valley, volunteering for Make-A-Wish Foundation, elected as the Secretary/Treasurer for the BCS Regional Association of Realtors MLS Board, and elected as Vice President of the Grimes County Health Resource Commission, and Secretary of the Iola Cemetery Association. She is very active in her church, volunteering as the Children's Church Director and has served several years as an advisory member of her church business committee. Katie is an active participant in Iola ISD District and Campus Improvement Committees. She enjoys politics and serves on the BCS Association of Realtors Governmental Affairs committee. She was chosen as one of the Texas Realtor Legislative contact liaisons for State Rep. Ben Lehman during his term.

Katie resides in Iola with her husband Michael and her daughter Zoe. In their spare time, they enjoy traveling, reading, and listening to podcasts, cooking, and trying new restaurants!
