Kate Looney Walters
A Lakewood native, Kate is consistently one of the top ten agents in East Dallas and has been selected as a top producer by D Magazine and The Advocate nearly every year of her career. In addition, she was recently selected to co-list the iconic 10-acre Mount Vernon Estate on White Rock Lake.
A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in communications, Kate spent two years working in the advertising and marketing industry which she credits with developing her skills in negotiating, creative problem-solving and targeted marketing. She specializes in Lakewood, the M-Streets, and Lake Highlands but also serves the Park Cities, Preston Hollow, Devonshire, Briarwood, Bluffview, Uptown and Downtown areas as well.
Kate attributes her success to the commitment she consistently employs to make a personal connection with each client she represents. Because of her personal commitment to maintain these critically important client connections, more than 90 percent of her business comes from referrals from past clients. Kate is highly committed to remaining informed about the local market and handles each transaction with professionalism and integrity.
In her free time, Kate is involved with the Lakewood Early Childhood PTA (LECPTA), sits on the board for the Friends of Wilkinson Center and is a member at Munger Place Church. She remains active in Kappa Kappa Gamma, Kappa Alpha Southern Belles and Cowboys Sweethearts through UT. Kate also enjoys spending time with her husband, Will, their two daughters, Emery and Bo, and their chocolate lab, Avett. At least once a year, Kate and Will return to Rosemary Beach, Florida, where they were married in 2010.
