Growing up on a cotton farm in Midland, Texas, she honed her work ethic early, competing in barrel racing and buying her first horse at just 8 years old with money she earned through 4-H projects. At 16, she made her first bold step into real estate, purchasing her first home and renting it out to cover the mortgagea clear indicator of the trailblazing career ahead.
While pursuing a degree in Geology at Permian Basin University, Karis balanced her studies with roles as a Landman and production manager in the oil industry, further showcasing her ability to adapt and excel in diverse fields. After relocating to Abilene, Texas, in 1987 with her husband Dennis and their two children, Karis followed her passion for real estate. By 1990, she had earned her Realtor license and became a Certified Residential Appraiser, uniquely positioning herself as a leader in the industry.
Since 2000, Karis has partnered with her husband Dennis, who joined the business as a Certified Residential Appraiser. Together, they lead a dynamic team of real estate professionals and appraisers who prioritize personalized service, ensuring that every client experience is seamless and tailored to their needs.
