Karen Guevara lacked the necessary due diligence of checking the appraisal districts measurements before listing a property. This 600 square foot oversight cost my company $1,300 (appraisal, HOA docs, and Inspection) if the paid HOA fees are included in our loss. Things like this can not happen and must be reported to the TREC. These are losses that a first time home buyer may not come back from. I hope they are more careful with their transactions because real estate is too important and while it means nothing for them it is life altering for many.
