Karen Keating

With over 20 years' experience in the real estate industry, Karen Keating is an Associate Broker at Coldwell Banker Realty. Karen strives to use her knowledge to help people maximize their real estate returns and homeownership experience.

Karen Keating has lived all over the world, from Bakersfield, California to Villars, Switzerland and points in-between, but has called Houston home since 1999. A recognized top producing Realtor Karen's market focus is the growing community south of Houston that includes Clear Lake, League City, Friendswood, Alvin, Galveston and Seabrook.

Karen has been named one of Houston Association of REALTORS' Top Producing REALTORS. She earned the prestigious awards of Circle of Excellence while at Martha Turner Properties and 100% Club while at RE/MAX. She considers her strengths to be extensive up-to-date market knowledge, excellent negotiating skills and successful marketing. Karen particularly enjoys helping families to relocate as she identifies with both the excitement of moving and its challenges. She also enjoys mentoring agents and teaching the fundamentals of the industry.

Karen Keating holds a broker's license and is also a licensed T.R.E.C. Instructor who taught QE, SAE and MCE courses at Champions School for Real Estate. She holds many designations including Accredited Buyer's Representative, Broker Price Opinion REALTOR, and the National Association of REALTORS GREEN Designation, a reflection of her commitment to sustainability, cost efficiency, and community.

A graduate of the University of Arizona at Tucson, Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree. When not selling real estate, Karen enjoys mentoring other REALTOR's to help them grow their business. Karen has served as a volunteer for the HAR Professional Development committee. She is a former board member of the Bay Area Builders Association. She served on the Texas Association of REALTORS Member Benefits committee and was a member of the Land Development Task Force. Karen lives in Webster, Texas. She enjoys boating, cooking and literature.
