Dr. Kareem Tannous is a distinguished figure in the fields of financial economics, real estate, and international business. With a career spanning over three decades, Dr. Tannous has made significant contributions both as an academic and a professional.
Dr. Tannous holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) in International Business from Walden University, an MBA in Accounting & Finance from Jacksonville University, and an MS in Applied Economics & Predictive Analytics from the University of North Dakota. His research has been widely recognized, with publications focusing on topics such as global supply chain management, mortgage characteristics, and housing industry dynamics.
Dr. Tannous began his career in the mortgage industry, working his way up from the post-closing department to establishing his own mortgage company in 2004. Despite the challenges posed by the 2009 financial crisis, he continued to excel, eventually founding Alliance Realty & Financial Services, Inc. in 2018. This company, headquartered in Jacksonville, FL, has grown to become a multi-state licensed mortgage and real estate brokerage.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Dr. Tannous has a passion for teaching. He has served as an assistant professor at various universities, sharing his expertise in business, economics, finance, and accounting. His commitment to education and mentorship has inspired many students and professionals in the field.
Originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia, Dr. Tannous relocated to Jacksonville, Florida, in 1998 and returned to the Philadelphia area in 2020 to once again relocate in 2024 to expand his business in Houston, Texas. His journey is a testament to resilience and adaptability, qualities that he imparts to his clients and students alike.
