Kaci Mckenzie

Kaci is a West Austin native and Westlake High School alum who grew up in the Lost Creek and Rob Roy neighborhoods. She is an avid world traveler having lived overseas and has witnessed Austin change from the "Keep Austin Weird" era that it was back in the 90s into Elon Musk’s "Boomtown" that it is today. With her vast experiences, she still believes Austin is the best city in the world for people to put down roots. Kaci has her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and became a licensed real estate agent in 2014. Real estate is more than a career for her; it is a family legacy. Kaci is a 4th generation real estate professional and has the honor of working with her parents and brother in developing, building, and investing in real estate. Over the years, she has worked with first-time home buyers, seasoned investors, builders, and developers. In 2022, Kaci earned her Broker license and joined the Austin Residential Group at Compass led by Heather Hudson. In addition to being a real estate Broker, Kaci is also a real estate investor and the general contractor on her personal home in the Apache Shores neighborhood of Lakeway, TX. With her unique background in real estate investing and hands-on building knowledge, she brings a diverse perspective that enriches her clients’ selling/buying experiences. Kaci is reliable and always thinks positively; she is adaptable and can find the good in any situation. She is continually in pursuit of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, not only for her own gain but for those around her. Kaci applies logical and lateral thinking to find solutions to problems her clients face. Her superior attention to detail ensures no calculation errors are made and no deadlines are missed that could result in a profit loss or forfeited opportunity. In her spare time, she can be found playing with her adorable nieces and nephews, checking out the new hot foodie destinations around Austin, and volunteering with her church community at Austin Ridge.
