Joni Haines

To say that Joni Haines knows what it takes to successfully buy or sell a home would be a gross understatement. In fact, one could say she “wrote the book.” Besides being a seasoned agent and broker for over three decades, her father worked for an oil company and her mother was a Realtor. Joni went to 19 different schools before even entering the ninth grade. She and her parents have redone and resold 40-50 homes, re-built two dozen in the Houston Heights area, and built new in Memorial as well as in Alto, New Mexico.

Joni will work harder to make everyone feel satisfied because she has “lived” the experience and moved so many times, she knows how disruptive it can be. Her goal is to make it easy and fun. The only part of her working style that trumps her organizational skills is her enthusiasm! Utilizing her unprecedented expertise in finding clients a home, or selling their existing home, leading them through the process, and making sure everyone feels satisfied, is her great joy.

She feels that all successful agents must work hard at keeping the objectives and needs of their clients upmost in their minds, and she particularly loves the creative process of seeing houses and imagining what they could become.

A former volunteer with the Ronald McDonald House of Houston, she credits that experience with helping put any perceived problems in perspective. She says it was there that she learned to have an attitude of gratitude. She has also volunteered with Meals on Wheels, Washington, D.C. and is a member of the Junior League of Houston.
