That alone tells you how much we trusted her. She was our listing agent, but what she really became was the person watching over our home while we were gone. She planted flowers, set out patio furniture to make the pool area feel inviting, cleaned the pool, helped us make paint decisions, coordinated repairs, and even stopped by to drip the faucets on freezing nights. More than once, she handled things that no job description requires and never made it feel like a favor. This was not an easy sale. The market shifted right as we left town, days on market stretched longer, and trying to sell a house remotely could have been incredibly stressful. Every time I felt discouraged or second-guessed something, she stayed steady and reassuring. She even paid for a second round of photos after we repainted because she wanted the house to be presented well. She coached potential buyers through the loan process, dealt with wishy-washy repair people, and managed details we couldn’t see from hundreds of miles away. Through all of it, she was calm, kind, and professional. What stood out most to me was her integrity. Even knowing a relocation company would take a significant portion of her commission, she never cut corners or pulled back. She worked just as hard as if it were her own home. It honestly felt like having family down the street keeping an eye on things. We’ve worked with a lot of good realtors over the years, and she is absolutely one of the great ones. She treats your house like a home, not a transaction. Just a person quietly showing up over and over until the job is done. In business and in life, that’s the gold standard.
