Glass JAR Realty Group was founded in the summer of 2021 as my oldest daughter, Jasie, and I were sitting on the beach of a remote island in the Aegean Sea. The conversation was deep, honest, pure and consisted of wisdoms that a mother would share with her college age daughter about pursuing her passion and her dream while she is still young and has the chance. Once the conversation was over (or so I thought), Jasie looked me straight in the face and asked "so Mom, when are you going to follow your own passions and dreams?" 22 years earlier I have always had the heart and gift of helping others get what they want and what they need. If there was an obstacle, I was the one people came to for ideas on how to make the goal obtainable. I naturally went into sales and business development. My career lead me to mortgage lending, financial planning, business to business sales, architectural sales and finally real estate. Funny how life can bring us full circle: from mortgage lending to real estate. Fast forward back to the beach!!! It was that day that I decided to start my own real estate team. I spent months trying to come up with the perfect real estate team name. It kept me up at night because if I wanted to start a real estate team, then the team would need to have a name that all my clients could relate to, because after all, the client is just as much a part of the real estate "team" as the Realtor is. One morning while getting ready for another day in the grind of real estate, I noticed a jar in my closet which held the sand from the infamous beach where such an important life changing decision was made. Why did I save a glass jar of wet smelly sand from a beach from the other side of the world? Why did I meticulously protect it in my travels to ensure it made its way home safely just to sit in my closet and collect dust? Was it because, sand in a glass jar was something we did as a kid? Jamie is fantastic, she went out of her way to make us feel comfortable, we came from Canada, trying to navigate a us market with little to no knowledge how things are done here in the US, we didn't have to worry, Jamie knows her job 100 , answered all our questions, made sure we felt that the house we rented was the one we wanted, Jamie walked us though the whole Esperance.
