Harris Benson
Ambitious and driven, Harris Benson began his career right out of college in the management training program for Netherlands-based company Pon Holdings B.V. After four years with the company, Harris learned that success in business is all about relationships, responsiveness and communication, which are essential for high-level customer service. His understanding and passion for these factors led him to pursue his long-time interest in real estate. As a sales associate, Harris strives to offer his clients a positive, outcome-driven experience that results in 100 percent satisfaction from every transaction. While working for Pon Holdings B.V. in Amsterdam, Harris developed and implemented process improvement strategies for the Netherlands/Norway/Sweden/Denmark division of Caterpillar, but it was his transfer to the company's Material Handling Division (Equipment Depot) that ultimately brought him to Houston where his interest in customer service seriously began to take rise. It was his regard for the people, culture and diversity of Houston that made him fall in love with the city that he now considers his home. Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, with deep Louisiana roots, Harris chose to attend Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge where he majored in business management and minored in psychology. Harris is the youngest of three brothers and is extremely close to his family, who now live in New Orleans. Growing up he learned the importance of service to others and spends his volunteer hours as the Assistant Director of Community Outreach for the Young Adult Division of the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston.
