“Geneva was very nice, everything went fast, and smoothly on the sale of our property. We do feel we lost a considerable amount of money on the sale. This was our vacation home and we are from out of state, and are unfamiliar with the market. So, Wanted a company that was reputable, and chose Caldwell Banker. She did not have much comparable to our property, we understand that. Maybe the property should have been listed as coming soon, to see what interest the property generated, or she should have asked around. She told us she thought it would sale for 149,900, we asked could we go a little higher and could negotiate, so listed for 155,900. The property sold first day to investors for cash. There was very much interest after signing a contract. We met the investor s and the buyers realtor, who said we under sold big time . Our realtor should have known what to list our property, so we would have gotten a fair settlement. We relied on her advice being we are from out of state.”
