Garth Whittington

A native Houstonian, T. GARTH WHITTINGTON has more than 20 years of experience in the Houston real estate market. Raised in the shadows of Greenway Plaza, Garth has extensive knowledge of this area and specializes in upscale, Inner-Loop neighborhoods. Garth is a graduate of the Kinkaid School and earned his bachelor’s degree in management and economics from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida. Garth’s belief in continuing education inspired him to obtain a broker's license and Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®) designation, and he regularly attends real estate seminars and workshops to keep abreast of new developments in the field. This avid interest enables him to better serve clients and assist customers.

Garth has a knack for sensing his clients’ individual needs and then following through. His time commitment, resourcefulness, honesty, integrity, and business acumen serve him well in dealing with clients. Garth chose a career in real estate because of his keen interest in Houston’s residential market. He truly enjoys the evolution of neighborhoods, and takes an active role in civic concerns and community affairs as evidenced by his membership in the Houston Property Rights Association.

Garth’s professional energy carries over into his personal interests as well. His love for bicycle racing has led to membership in the Gulf Coast Cycling Club, Texas Bicycle Coalition, and the Houston Bicycle Alliance. But he also volunteered for numerous charitable causes such as the Museum of Health & Medical Science and the Downtown Historic District, and is involved with several cycling and advocacy organizations.
