The saying goes never mix business and friendship. In this case, were happy we did. Edward took us through the whole experience and it was as if we were in school. He went out of his way to explain the WHOLE home buying process. Even when we didnt want to hear it. And thats the kicker. Your realtor has to treat the process like hes buying the house for himself and thats exactly what Ed did. He emphasized over and over again that when we got to the point of getting our loan approved, we had to show seriousness and snap when documentation was requested for. He explained the pitfalls of not responding to requests on time. He showed us how the numbers were crunched and how we could make mistakes if we were not knowledgeable of how the market works. He was with us from beginning to the finish line. Even when the freeze in Texas threatened to delay the process, he refused to allow us to give up. We were involved in the building process of our home from start to finish. He made sure we got the best interest rate that was available to us and was there by our side on the day we closed. It was a Rollercoaster 5 month ride from start to finish and were happy to state that we just moved into our home and feel like we had a new baby. I recommend Ed completely. Hell take you through the storm and make sure you come out of the other side with a smile on your face. Hes a terror to the builders when it is necessary and you really need that in a realtor.
