In Texas, sellers disclosures are generally not required for undeveloped land. The Texas Property Code mandates seller disclosure forms primarily for residential property sales involving one to four dwelling units. Since undeveloped land does not contain residential structures, it typically falls outside this requirement.However, sellers may still need to disclose known material facts that could affect the lands value or usability, such as environmental hazards, easements, or zoning restrictions. Additionally, if the land has improvements like a well or septic system, certain disclosures might still apply. While not legally required, providing a voluntary disclosure can help build buyer trust and prevent future disputes.
