I'm renting a home in Houston. The leasing agent has put a lockbox on my door and has been sending out the code to interested parties. I'm still living here and have had people walk in my home without my knowledge and without a Realtor. Is this not against a code of ethics? I don't feel comfortable with unsupervised strangers coming in my home, especially when I'm not home.

It would be best if you contact the agent that is listing the home for lease and inform them why are they allowing prospects to have the combo code. The knowledge of the code should not be allowed and should only be given to a realtor.if the agent doesn't respond to you, then call the landlord and inform them.

Fernando was born and raised in Houston, TX. I received my Real Estate License in May 2007.

I've been happily married for 36+ years and have three adult children. I also have four beautiful grandchildren who are cute as can be.

During my career, I've made significant contributions to the real estate field.

I initiated a mentor/coaching-training program with my previous broker in December 2015, which grew substantially over time. The program expanded to include 12 mentors and over 400+ students, demonstrating my leadership and mentoring skills.

My dedication and success in the mentorship program led to my promotion to the role of Director of Mentorship. In my formal position as the VP of Training and Mentoring at my former broker, I managed the overall process of the mentor/coaching program to ensure agents had the tools to be successful in their real estate business.
