Great Experience Working with Eric & Erika Nelson! I’ve worked with Eric & Erika Nelson and The Bayou City Team many times and have always had a great experience. Eric is professional, kind, and truly cares about helping his clients. He’s the type of agent who works hard behind the scenes, stays in touch, and does everything he can to make the process smooth. As an agent, it's incredible to have someone like them on the other side of a transaction, we all have the same goal in mind. Extremely Disappointed – Avoid Eric Nelson at The Bayou City Team My family had a deeply disappointing experience with Eric Nelson from The Bayou City Team. He persistently urged us to let him handle the purchase of my new home. He engaged in multiple phone calls and text messages with me and my wife daily. Half-heartedly we agreed to let him be our agent, but once the process began, he was completely passive and ineffective. Every time we asked him a question; he would refer us to “find it yourself smart people or I will get back to you…”! As much as he referred us to his network such as loan officers, shipping companies (by the way they were worthless like him) he couldn’t work with the seller’s agent. I was the one who ultimately secured the deal — not him. Showed up to the closing day with a fake smile and empty hand unlike seller’s agent who was full of charm, regards and champaign in hand to seal the deal! Despite doing virtually nothing, Eric collected a full commission. He had also promised not to charge me for listing my rental property as a gesture for his lack of support — but once the deal closed, he completely disappeared. No follow-up, no communication, and no fulfillment of his word. This experience was not just unprofessional, it was unethical. I cannot in good conscience recommend Eric Nelson to anyone looking for a responsible or reliable realtor.
