Derek moved to Austin in 2012 after a 10-year career in the music business. Having worked for Capitol Records, Live Nation, and Ticketmaster, he was prepped and ready for a new adventure. Derek has a background in negotiating record deals, publishing deals, and touring contracts while also having a passion for serving people, so Real Estate proved itself to be the right balance of business and customer service. Derek Closed over 60 transactions in the last few years and has proved that he is extremely patient and loyal. He operates with the highest level of honesty and integrity at all times, and has a history of fighting for his clients while keeping deals together through closing. He strikes the perfect balance of friendly and fierce. Being tech-savvy and having a heart for people, Derek is constantly finding ways to efficiently raise the bar for customer service. No task is too tall for him and he is focused on providing the best experience possible for his clients. Derek has two beautiful daughters and loves spending as much time as possible with them. When he is not working or with his kids, he is doing something active like running the lake, playing volleyball at Zilker, weightlifting, or shooting hoops. He spends a lot of time getting to know the city and the communities .
