With more than two decades of service in the U.S. Army and Texas Army National Guard, I have built my career around leadership, accountability, service, and taking care of people. Those same values are at the heart of how I approach real estate today as a REALTOR® and co-founder of Brown & Deckard Realty Team, brokered by Norluxe Realty Houston.
Alongside my husband and business partner, Tyrone Deckard, I serve buyers, sellers, military families, veterans, first-time homebuyers, and relocating families throughout Houston, North Houston, Montgomery County, and surrounding communities.
My military leadership experience has shaped the way I do business: have a plan, communicate clearly, pay attention to the details, and take care of the people who trust you to lead them. Real estate is no different. Whether I am helping someone purchase their first home, navigating a VA-financed purchase, assisting with a relocation, marketing a property for sale, or helping a family determine their next move, I believe my clients should understand the process and know what to expect along the way.
I don’t believe in pressuring people into making one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives. My job is to educate, provide honest guidance, advocate for my clients’ best interests, and help them make informed decisions based on their goals and circumstances.
As a Homes for Heroes Real Estate Specialist, I am especially proud to give back to those who serve our communities, including military members and veterans, first responders, healthcare professionals, and educators. For me, this is more than a program—it aligns with the foundation of service that has guided me throughout my career.
