Dave Chastain

Buying or selling real estate is the most important financial decision an individual can make. Dave Chastain is passionate, hard-working, and dedicated to helping his clients navigate through either process, whether it is finding his clients their perfect home or selling the property they own. His ultimate goal is to make his clients happy! Dave is not only extremely patient in fulfilling his clients’ wants and needs, but he is also committed to helping them in an efficient and effective manner. In the five years that Dave has been a realtor, he has helped his clients find their dream homes in the ever growing and challenging real estate market we live in. Though not originally from Austin, Dave arrived in 2001 and has since made the appealing city his permanent home. Before getting his real estate license, Dave attended Texas State University and moved to Austin after graduation. Dave then worked for Homeland Security, helping victims of catastrophic natural disasters and performing fraud investigations committed under FEMA. Subsequently, for seven years, he helped students apply for college loans to further their education and assist them in scheduling loan payments to the Department of Education. This diverse experience has provided Dave with a unique set of skills, such as effective communication, the ability to negotiate, a broad understanding of financing, and most importantly, a strong sense of compassion. Dave and his wife have two beautiful children. The oldest attends Texas A&M University, and the youngest just finished kindergarten. Dave’s hobbies include playing sand volleyball, skiing, and most of all, spending time with his family. Dave especially enjoys traveling with them whenever he can. Dave becomes forever connected to every single client he helps. He treats them like family, giving them honest and effective advice, ultimately leading them to find their perfect home.
