“Darena (in my opinion) is exceptionally intelligent, and would most likely be successful in just about any forum or task presented to her. Luckily for us home buyers and sellers she has chosen real estate. Prior to her, I had worked with four other realtors. While being nice people, they could not come anywhere near to her competency level. A good analogy in my opinion is that she is like an Italian sports car in the realm of realty, the others I worked with are going to be the run of the mill domestics and imports. She really knew her stuff (all aspects of the entire experience, I was a buyer). There were no surprises. It was so nice not having to worry about hardly anything during the whole process (aside from securing the loan, which is a different item) as she was able to provide an answer or an idea to overcome any perceived challenges. Darena is quite market savvy. I believe she is a native Houstonian, and she impressed me by knowing some neighborhoods right down to the block, including businesses and rental properties. She is up to speed on market trends, identifying up and coming areas vs those transitioning downwards. Darena is very professional, and communicated as such. Again, there were no surprises, and if anything she was waiting on me to produce items I might need for the negotiation and purchase, not the other way around. Thankfully she is pretty patient, with a positive attitude also- I imagine that served her well when dealing with some of my hair-brained ideas. Overall, my experience working with Darena was absolutely top-notch. She is a realtor that will give you 110% (seriously, to use a worn-out trope). I had the notion that she puts herself in her client's shoes- she considers any problems experienced by the clients as her own and that would go for successes as well. To get that experience, a super smart, business savvy realtor with a huge heart to boot- don't find that combination too often. Would most definitely recommend ”
