Courtney Sapio

Courtney Sapio comes to real estate after a successful career in financial services, portfolio management and stock trading. She has a degree in marketing and brings to her real estate work an array of skills benefitting any REALTOR® .

"I'd call REALTORS® to promote our business asking what we could do to make their title experiences better, and then we would implement their suggestions.  I remember hanging out on the couch in my dad's office and being a runner - running back and forth between his law office and the title company. I used to sit in on closings just for fun.  We would sit around the dinner table and talk about real estate. Real estate has been so much a part of my life."

Courtney also enjoys volunteer work, and she created the Just Be Me after-school program for elementary school kids. Students in the program meet a couple of times a week to talk about and help cure their eating disorders.  

In addition to real estate, she is involved in the Landmark Worldwide Team Management and Leadership Program designed to train people in communication skills through team management. 

"I had an eating disorder in high school, and I came out fine; I was lucky, and I decided to give back," she said. "We play games, some on computers, and we do arts and crafts and create vision boards of their hopes and dreams. We teach them to be accepting of themselves without pressure from outside forces."

Courtney is an advocate for the National Eating Disorders of America and is working to get legislation passed which designates eating disorders a mental illness to be covered by medical insurance. 

She loves animals and the outdoors; she plays softball and she's a volleyball player.  She has an enthusiastic passion for life and for helping people.

Courtney is a member of GAR, the Galveston Association of Realtors; HAR, the Houston Association of Realtors; TAR, the Texas Association of Realtors; NAR, the National Association of Realtors. Galveston Chamber; Certified Tourism Ambassador for Galveston, Texas; Galveston Association Realtors 2022 MLS Chair and member of the Board.
